Committed to diversity, Atlanta Boom is here to serve the athletes in its charge. We are here to help them "MEET" their potential at this point in their career. There is a distinct difference between having potential and "Being" a high caliber volleyball athlete. We hope to place our athletes in a category labeled "High Caliber " by pushing them beyond their limits and showing them a new threshold of performance.
Our focus is on individual development as opposed to that of the team. In the pursuit of collegiate scholarships, it is our belief that elite skills always find homes. We hope to have winning teams; but we "will" pursue the development of elite skills for our players. Many athletes that pursue club volleyball hope to continue in College. Many college coaches search for elite players to plug into their system. We hope to develop just such an athlete.
Atlanta Boom. Providing the equal opportunity for girls - from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds - to train and compete at USA Volleyball's Junior Olympic level. We encourage teamwork, health, positive life skills, and academic achievement. Part of a nationwide network helping to develop socioeconomic diversity within the sport itself, Atlanta Boom Volleyball Institute proudly boasts Two National Championships-- one for it's 16's team in 2003 and another for its 18's team in 2005. This particular team was listed by prepvolleyball.com as one of the strongest teams in the Southeastern United States with victories over A5 and Tampa Bay. Boom also captured two 4th place national finishes for its 12's and 17's teams in 2004.
Atlanta Boom Volleyball Institute provides camps, clinics and instruction for athletes both male and female around the country.
